The tooth surface will be slightly etched by our dentists to roughen it. Then, the tooth is lightly coated with a conditioning liquid that helps the bonding material adhere. Once the tooth is prepared, our dentists will apply the tooth-colored resin, taking the time to mold and smooth it properly until it's the proper shape. The material is hardened using a special ultraviolet light that our dentists will trim, shape, and polish until it matches the sheen of the rest of the tooth surface. The entire procedure usually takes under one hour to complete. If you are having more than one tooth treated, we may ask that you schedule additional appointments.

We recommend that you avoid eating hard foods as this can crack the composite material.
